Alpha 5 is built around the parts of Moodle people actually use every day: the dashboard, courses, calendar and enrollment. You can keep the familiar Moodle navigation or switch to a collapsible sidebar that gets out of the way when you need more space. Whichever layout you choose, the whole interface stays consistent.
There are no dramatic UI tricks here. Just cleaner navigation, better spacing, clearer course cards and pages that finally feel like they belong to the same system. The dashboard, course pages, enrollment screens and Rosea stats all follow the same visual language instead of feeling like separate parts of Moodle.
Alpha 5 is made for Moodle 5.1 and 5.2+. You also get the tools I use myself when setting up a site: menu builder, live customizer, settings import/export and branded emails. Most of the work can be done directly from the theme settings, without editing templates or touching the code.
Moodle that feels designed.
Two layouts. One Alpha.
Stick with the standard Moodle navigation, or switch to a compact sidebar that collapses down to icons when you want more space.
The layout changes, but the experience doesn’t. Course cards, everyday tools, and the rest of the interface all follow the same Alpha design.
